Visiting Sassy Ranch

Hart's in San Jose so I'm at my sister's house in Oregon. Yesterday was full -- as the days always are with Mindy. The highlights were going to lunch, volunteering at Richard's school (I rang a real school bell!), mucking out horse stalls (I watched) and going to part of Susannah's basketball practice.

We were glued to Super Tuesday results last night. David and I talked politics amiably for the first time and actually agree on many things!

While the kids are at school today, Mindy and I are going shopping in Portland. It is such a great city. I never get to do everything I want to when I'm here.

We stopped to take a picture of a rainbow and Richard spotted a herd of elk.

I've also been showering in Mindy and David's incredible shower. Wow! Tomorrow I get to try out the fun tub, which is what the kids call the jacuzzi bathtub. I offered to send Hart here for a couple days to do all their tech stuff and David can come to Seattle to build us a shower.
