When I got back in from Minnesota, one of things awaiting me was our newly painted house which the painters finished while we were away. Today is a beautiful almost-summer day in Seattle so I stepped outside for a quick shot:
About 10 years ago, Hart’s mom gave him a gold plastic-framed refrigerator magnet of a fictional Hart family crest that she found in England. She presented the gift with the explanation that every home needs a little kitsch. It inspired us to collect refrigerator magnets from everywhere we travel – the tackier the better. We use our dozens of magnets to hang the paper our life generates; similarly, we use Tacky Magnet to post updates on our life and travels.

The house looks wonderful! Can't wait to see it for myself. Your Mom had a wonderful time in Minnesota - I hope you did, also.
Love,
