Megapixel, Shmegapixel

If you want to see some amazing hi-rez photos, visit http://www.gigapxl.org/. They've (or he's, I can't tell if it's really just one person) built a custom camera with a resolution of more than a gigapixel. Check out the gallery--the whole picture isn't shown, but there are a series of crops so you can see how much detail was available in the original shot. It's amazing stuff.
