A Southern Weekend

We spent the weekend in Oxford, Mississippi with Hart's mom's side of the family. We met up with Megan and Shahv at the Memphis airport and drove to their Aunt Julie and Uncle Jerry's house in Oxford. Hart and Megan's mom, Sarah, and their Aunt Bo drove from Jackson to Oxford with their grandmother the day before we arrived. Their cousin Dorothy (Julie and Jerry's daughter), her husband John and their kids Will, Julie and Anna, who live in Oxford, were in and out all weekend. We all had a wonderful time talking, eating, relaxing and eating some more.

Hart hadn't been to Oxford in 10 years and, except for Bo, I have only seen the rest of the family at our wedding. We loved meeting and talking with everyone as adults and I loved seeing the town that Sarah describes so fondly.

Hart and Shahv took all the pictures of the family, so I'll have to post those later. The only pictures I took all weekend were of Shahv, Megan and Hart playing Hart's PSP (portable Playstation) in our hotel room.
