Happy Birthday to Hart

Hart's e-mail birthday party was so successful that he had to turn the sound off his computer at work because it was dinging so frequently with e-mail notifications. He came home from work thrilled and feeling loved.

When our friends Steve and Christina received the e-mail from me, they decided it would be better to celebrate in person than on e-mail, so they drove out from Montana for the weekend. It was a lovely visit and the weather was gorgeous. We saw Star Wars, ate a lot of lemon cake with chocolate frosting (graciously made by Steve and Christina), and had a sushi picnic at a nearby park that overlooks downtown and Elliot Bay.
