A Beautiful Minnesota Wedding (in February)

Hart's sister Megan married her sweetie, Shahveer, in St. Paul on Monday, Feb. 28. We had a great weekend meeting Shahv's family and Megan and Shahv's friends, and enjoyed spending time with Hart's family too. We've been slow posting these photos, so -- except for captions -- I'll delay no further.

At the rehearsal dinner Shahv's dad, Adi Press, gave each table a mysterious envelope. With some trepidation, we opened them to discover a Cathy cartoon about her recent marriage. Here the happy couple are holding the envelope and wishing for the best before they open it. Don't they hide their fear well?

After the photographers took pictures of the formal cake, Megan and Shahv crashed a model plane into it. This was a gesture to the airline Shahv used to work for -- and one that he plans to send to the company as a symbolic gesture.


The day after the wedding, some of Megan's family and friends gathered to watch them open their gifts. There were some great shots; this one is my favorite.


The photographers and Megan and Shahv's friend James took lots of pictures at the ceremony, but Hart didn't because he didn't want to block the view of those behind us. If we can, we'll post some of those when they are available.
