Back from Japan

I got back from Japan on Sunday and am just getting over my jet lag. The picture above is of the Great Buddha in Kamakura, which is just south of Tokyo. Yoko (a tester for After Effects who works for Adobe Japan) and her husband were kind enough to pick my coworker Yukiko and me up from our hotel and drive us down to see the sights in and around Kamakura. Unfortunately, it was raining that day (and almost my entire time in Japan) so I didn't snap many photos, but this is my best shot of the Buddha, which my guidebook says is 13.35 meters (almost 44 feet) tall and was cast in 1252.
